People shouting on the phone at 6am and some strange aggressive guys in the kitchen and alarm noise in the 8am

The price per night was very cheap, the hostel had a fully equipped kitchen and a cute garden

The staff was quite rude and not really helpful at all. There were signs everywhere how the hostel is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings, while not offering any lockers or facilitate to keep our belongings safe. It's also quite far from the centre of the city.

Everything is neat and clean.

I did not like my sleeping place because i have one big bag and my bed is on top floor where i have to go by using stairs that’s very difficult fir me.

-check in was easy, receptionist was friendly -it was cheap -location was good

-bathrooms were individual style, not gym style. So one person can use it at a time, but there are a lot of people staying there. It should be separated by gender and shared. That way, if someone is only using the sink to brush their teeth, someone else can shower. We had to wait in line to use the bathroom each time.

I like the considerable price despite the location and the warm customer service attitude.

The Guest attention was very poor. I didn't know it was a hostel in the first place and I did inform booking.com that O was travelling with my wife and daughter but they nothing about it. I understand, such could happen. Imagine, a drunk guest accused me of stealing his wallet before other guests and my family simply because I went to charge my phone close to his bed. He insisted we produce it as he would call the police. Everyone in the hall was looking at me like to thief and he walked away. For over 2hours while we were waiting for the police, I was a thief in the eyes of all. Obviously because I am the only black person in that hall. When we got tired of waiting, I asked a staff of the hotel what the situation was because we have been waiting for the guy who left after a while. The guy told me that the Police had long gone. Shocked, I asked why they did not come to search us as the accuser threatened and the staff confirmed. He said the Police came and decided to search him (the accuser) first. In his travelling bag, they found his wallet and ensured all his things were intact. Then, they left. No one ever came back to apologize to us(my family and I) for the embarrassment. It then became clear that they have no regard whatsoever for us because of our colour. This is outright racism. I call on booking.com to address this because I would take it up to Trust Pilot. The neglect, racism & false accusation is unbearable. You can call the hotel to verify this. I have heard cases of black people that were jailed for offenses they know nothing about but never knew such could come close to me. It is important to tell the hotel to let everyone know of they do not want people of particular race in their property. Looking forward to your response. Thank you and have a great day. - no living room - rooms were dirty - kitchen was constantly closed for renovations - showers were cold - no lockers in the room
